Hello. I just joined the site so I could use some direction. I am here mostly to find any medical history of my family. My mother was adopted. Born Barbara Grace on 8/11/47 and given up to Catholic charities in Jersey City, NJ. All I know is that her parents weren't married and she was the product of an affair. She was adopted soon after birth as Ellen Marie Coski. She married my dad Michael Zynczenko who came here from Germany in 1950. There are many spelling variations such as Zinczenko and Zynchenko - the latter which my grandma Olga used. She had 2 more children after my dad - Wallace and a daughter. I don't know her name, just that she had ovarian or uterine cancer. My mom died of lung cancer that spread to her brain. I know m grandmother was mentally ill and want to find out more medical history was has before been impossible because I thought my dad was an only child and knew my mom was adopted.

I have struggled with depression and other mental illnesses, plus reproductive system issues including a chromosome disorder. I am nearing 40 and really want to know more abot my medical background. Any advice is greatly appreciated, than you.
