I would like some comments about a design I have been working on (I asked the swan question last week). As I am finding out, many people who design arms for themselves go through several versions. I am on version one and would like blazon and artistic feedback. The AAH form asked for general info about colors and favorite animals, but I'd like to send my current version to people for comments. Is there a AAH form for this purpose, or do I take volunteers?

What makes my design a little different is that I am trying to follow the style in Finland (my ancestry) and Scandinavia, using minimal colors and their limiting tinture rules. I sent my design to a Scott who tinkers with heradry and he d it because it was "to simple and lacks flair and colors."

When my design is more mature, I'd like to register it or assume it. South Africa seems to be the least expensive, but I have many documented ancesters (maternal side) from Ireland. What does "assume" mean?
