We are producing a documentary on the sinking of the Princess Sophia. Do not get us mixed up with the recent National Geographic show that was part of the Sea Hunters series. Whereas there doc was more of a 'technical dive' and anlaysis of the wreck, our show will be an in-depth look at the event and it's impact on the social and economic lives of those who lived in the Pacific Northwest.

One fellow, Al Winchell, spent his lifes savings back in 1918 after promising his new bride that if anything should happen to her, he was to find her and bury her next to her mother in California.

We wonder if that same passion exists.

If anyone is actively searching for their ancestors, please give us a call. We are currently researching this story and would like to have your input and will share what ever info we have.
