Miss Eva WALTERS, the young daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John WALTERS has been seriously ill during the past week, but is now much improved.
Mrs. LaVerne HORTON and son of Rochester are guests of her parents, Mr. & Mrs. T. V. BOYD for a visit of four weeks. Mrs. HORTON accompanied them, returning to Rochester on Monday morning.
Mrs. MORRISON who suffered a paralytic stroke on Thursday last was brought to the home of her son, Abram YOUNGE, the first of the week to be cared for.
Mrs. Claude ADAMS was the guest of John HATHAWAY and family a few days last week.
Edwin HOLLEY who has been seriously ill for several weeks is improving a little at present.
A dance held in Hadden's Hall on Friday evening last was not very largely attended owing to the inclement weather. An excellent supper was served at 12 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Harriet RETAN.
Mrs. VanTUYL of Prattsburg has been visiting Mr. & Mrs. C. B. STEWART for a few days, leaving Monday for Syracuse where she will visit her daughter, Mrs. W. E. COOK for several weeks.
Dr. L. M. NICHOLS has been confined to the house by illness during the past week.
H. V. BOYD of Syracuse was in town the first of the week at the home of his parents, Mr. & Mrs. T. V. BOYD (as above).
Miss Jennie WAGENER who has been caring for Mrs. Walter DENNISON for the past two weeks returned to her home in Hammondsport on Tuesday.
