MY ancestor was William Kirk, son of Samuel Kirk, christened at Independent Church Masbrough 10 Apr 1808 and born 15 Dec 1807 in Kimberworth. I am looking for further info on his father Samuel and also info on his schooling as next reference is in 1841 census as a GP in Hedon near Hull.
Does the church still exist? Who was he apprentice to before taking exams to become member of Royal college of surgeons?
