I am trying to find information on a Joseph Walter(s) my grandfather born in or about 1884. Married to Angelina Van Dyk in 1917. I am told by some family members that he was married prior to Angelina Van Dyk and fathered 2 sons Joseph and Raymond Walters, born 1913 and 1914. My grandmother raised both sons as her own. I don't know the name of the first wife or when she and my grandfather were married. I also have no information of my grandfather prior to his marriage to my grandmother, like did he have brothers or sisters, his parents names...etc. Any help , look up or where I should start would be helpful.
