Hello
I am trying to find out more about two people who may have worked at the Ringwood Iron Works between 1763 and 1777.
One person is a William Cameron, a british French-indian war vet who had a house and barn at Ringwood or Kingwood iron works and provided charcoal for iron sold to the London Compnay during the revolutionary war.
The second person is John Cameron who was also a F-I war vet and settled in Ringwood.
Both William and John re-enlisted with loyalists regiments in 1777.
Does anyone know of local documents, perhaps kept by the London company or protestant churches that might yield clues on either of these two people?
Thanks
Kim
