Greetings,

I am looking for information about 2 men, John Van Alstyne and Anderson Buffington. Together they opened a store in Anderson in the late 1840's. They later sold the business and Buffington then opened another store that didn't last long. Buffington was a Baptist minister & a soldier at San Jacinto.

I really am looking for information on my family Van Alstyne, but I will take whatever I can get.
