I am attempting to trace the ancestry of Gov. Stone. I know he was born about 1603 in England. His father was John Stone. John was killed by the Pequot Indians, in Bay Colony, CT on August 8, 1606. William's mother was either named Dorothy or Mary Warren. Any verification on either name would be appreciated. In addition I have been unable to track John Stone's immigration to America. Perhaps someone has the ship info as well as Gov. Stone's info and can fill in some of the blanks. I have been able to trace John Stone back two more generations in England.
