JOHNSTON COUNTY FAMILIES 1700s

Right now Familytreedna.com is allowing folks to transfer their familyfinder test results for FREE! This is a HUGE opportunity for ANY folks who have used Ancestry.com's test to broaden their results by sending their results to a the oldest, largest lab in the country.

* of note, Ancestry.com's test DOES NOT include X chromosome so you won't be able to use all of the wonderful tools but it is a start.

I urge all folks working those COLONIAL era families of this region to PLEASE PLEASE take the time to transfer your results and SERIOUSLY consider ordering family finder tests for the eldest members of your family. Work together with third and fourth cousins to get those branches properly established and confirmed. The family finder tests for folks who are over 70 has the potential to help us reach back to the Lords Proprietors Era. But that opportunity won't be here forever. When that generation goes on to glory our window of opportunity to have scientific work to help us will be lost.

This is a wonderful opportunity.
