I am searching for the ancestry of William Hamlin who was born in Ashburton, DEVON COUNTY on Sep. 12, 1839. I am fairly certain his parents were Richard (b. 1803) and Jane Hamlin (b. 1804). Any help with this line will be appreciated--especially any knowledge of Jane's maiden name, if these are truly William's parents. Thank you.
