My father's closest match on FTDNA shares 54cm with the longest run as 32.76cm on #12. Paper trails indicate that they are 8th cousins, not the 2-4 Family Tree suggests. I think this is possible, however, I'm looking for affirmation from those more experienced with dealing with DNA results. Or should I keep looking for a closer connection? Thanks
