I'm looking for additional information on John C. Calkins born March 1, 1871, s/o Levi Calkins and Elvira Sturgis. John married Freda Carolina SCHULTZ, born in 1876, in Germany, d/o Heinrich Schmidt (Schultz) and Johanne Figur. John and Freda had one known child together named Alta Calkins. John died in 1944 and Freda died in 1956. Both are buried in Mt. Rest cemetery, in St. Johns, Clinton, MI.

I am also looking for additional information on Freda's sister, Anna SCHULTZ, born in 1883, who married a man by the last name of BURKWHAT (sp), with whom she had two known children with, Louis Burkwhat and Margaret Burkwhat. Anna then married a man by the last named of REDFORD.

Freda and Anna's other sister, Meta (Mattie) Marie Wilhelmine SCHULTZ, born in 1878, in Germany, married a man by the last name of SPAYDE (sp), with whom she had one known child with, named Earl (Earle) Spayde.
