According to the McHone book II, he was born 14th April,1862 near Berea in a little settlement called "Cowbell Hollow". Married to Mary E. Elder, daughter of Anderson and Frances Ann Newton. They came to Denver, Ill. about 1902. She died Dec.17, 1953 at Plymouth, Hancock Co., Ill. William died March 26th, 1930 at Augusta, Ill.
