I've been working to place some of the early county surveys/land grants on the map in Christian County, and wanted to know if anyone has their own examples of property they own or know and has a complete record back to the original surveys from 1797 through the 1850s. For example, the part of the family farm I own in NE Christian county was purchased in 1811 by Samuel Johnson and has been handed down since and was acquired from Thomas Gooch previously granted to William Roberts and John Hughes (working from memory). Few grants can be located just based on unique geological features or landmarks. Thanks,
