Am interested in any connections to the Jasper Ellis, wife Elizabeth (Giddings) who are shown in the 4th District of Sumter Co. GA on the 1880 census. In the same house with them are shown "mother" Jerusha Morey age 54, "mother in law" Cresia Giddings, & "bro in law" William M. Morey.
I believe this Jerusha Morey was the same one shown as a widow? on the l850 Telfair GA census. Trying to establish who her Morey husband was?? Would like to swap info with any descendant of these Ellis or Morey lines. Any info appreciated. Thanks.
