I am from the Van Pelt family of Staten Island NY and am looking for further information on the lineage of the victims of "The Staten Island Tragedy - 1843" Emeline Van Pelt Housman (wife of Capt. George Housman) and her infant daughter Ann Eliza Housman (born approx. 1842).
