Mrs. Jacob Ungerer, 60 years old, resident of Tomahawk for 35 years, died at 7 p.m. Tuesday ( July 9, 1940) in the Riverview hospital. She had been ill five days following a stroke.

The former Anna Sadowski, she was born in Russia and came to this country as a 15 year old girl. She was married in 1897 to Mr. Ungerer at Phillips.

Surviving are her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Lilliam Geurtz, Kenosha; Mrs. Marian Stenson, Menasha; Mrs. Viola Hufschmid and Miss Helen Ungerer, Tomahawk; two sons, Tony and Joseph, also of Tomahawk; 10 grandchildren, and a brother, Joseph Sadowski, Herron, Mich.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. next Friday in St. Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. William Smits officiating.
