I'm researching the Goslins of the Eastern Shore also. The furtherest I can go back with my line is to a John H. Goslin born ca.1826. He married twice. First to Mary Jane Henry on Dec 15, 1852 in Dorchester County, Maryland. He married second to Sarah Elizabeth Page (nee Cheeseman) on July 22, 1866. Sarah was the widow of Henry Page. John and Sarah had five girls that I can find. One is my grandmother, Bertha Mae Goslin, born July 19, 1883. Does any of these people ring a bell with anyone?
