I am searching for Piers family members from the area of Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven in Germany rather than from Ireland or England.

Howard, when were your Piers in Germany & what have you learned of them thusfar? I have other lines (Riehl & Mohr) from Germany. We have been very successful in tracing back our German ancestry through church records. Fortunately the records of where my GGF was from were meticulously kept. Hence, we were able to have our ancestry back to the 1600's from 1 church.
