Looking for families of Sawyer and Fort who lived in S. C. Late 1700s and early 1800s.

Arthur Holmes Fort and son Drury Fort.
Supposedly after the untimely death of Drury, his wife, Lydia married John Sawyer in Old Edgefield Co. S. C.

Any help on either of these lines is appreciated.

Most of this line left S. C. and went farther South
