Based on all that I could locate from old records from Sara Mayo hospital, I believe that my birth mother's given name was Yvonne Schmidt, and my birth father's name was Rufus Daniel Roberts. I was born June 11, 1951 and surrendered to the Protestant Home for Babies in New Orleans. I was called Yvonne until my adoptive parents took me home some months later. I know from information given to my adoptive parents that my biological mother was 25 when I was born.
