Arrival of Scottish Emigrants 1786

I have been looking over the article submitted by Duncan Darby MacDonald on the "McDonell Arrivals in Glengarry in 1786" and realize that he has mixed two arrivals of Scottish Emigrants into one listing. First, the Ship Philadelphia had Emigrants who left Scotland in 1785 and arrived in Montreal via New York and Albany in August 1786. Secondly the Ship McDonald left Scotland in June of 1786 and arrived Quebec 31 August 1786. This group then left Quebec 3rd September for Montreal. Some names on the Duncan Darby listing I know they were on the Ship Philadelphia ….Colin Fraser 26.6 Lancaster, John Grant, Duldreggan 25/26.4 Charlottenburgh (South Branch Raisin River) , William McQueen 18.6 Lancaster, Duncan Kennedy 7.7east Charlottenburg, John Kennedy either 20.7 Lancaster or 34.7 Lancaster. Most of the rest of the Emigrants were McDonells/McDonalds and some further work needs to be done. Comments are welcomed. Anne
