I have found this Widow Nelly McDonell on two transcribed list of the Old United Empire Loyalist Lists . She is mentioned as being in Eastern District Charlottenburg . That is it . No mention of husband or children . I was hoping she would connect to my lost Donald McDonell KRRNY who was killed at Fort Shuyler / Fort Stanwix in 1777 . His Widow [name unknown] and young daughter Ann / Nancy McDonell apparently settled near Glenbrooke Charlottenburg after the Rev War . Ann / Nancy McDonell [wife of Alexander Alex Grant] applied for and received land grant as daughter of said UEL Donald McDonell in early 1800s . She and her husband Alexander Alex Grant were listed on the 1851 Charlottenburg Census [the same year he died age 95] . I do not have access to the Victualling Lists , where she may or may not be found . Any help or guesses would be appreciated . Thanks .
