My 2nd Great Grandfather was Gabriel Brickey, born 1827 died 1892 and is buried in the Brickey Cemetary in Breckinridge County Kentucky. My 2nd great grandmother, his wife is Letita or Litita born 1831 died 1816 and buried by husband, Gabriel in the Brickey graveyard. Records show Letita's mother was Ellen Pate and Father Edward Hambleton...(Edward Hambleton is Ellen Pates 3rd husband)...
On the death certificate of my Great Grandfather John Edward Brickey it is recorded mother's name, Letita Hambleton, father, Gabriel Brickey. But in the Brickey Cemetary she is Litita Hamilton Burdette Brickey and many family reseachers have her maiden name Burdette (Burdit). I think even a book "The Brickey Heritage" has her as a Burdette...

Does any one know the answer? Did she marry again?? or ???
