Occassionally I find a person with the green leaf, indicating possible matches.
In this example Isaac SCALES has a green leaf. When I hover my mouse over the leaf it shows "1 source record"

If I then click that leaf it takes me to the web search screen (ok so far) but when the search is done there are no hints - as shown here: http://www.kia-glitz.com/misc/ftm2009fakehint01.png

I can't "ignore" this hint because in the merge screen there isn't a hint to ignore.
I've tried backing up & compressing my file, closing out FTM, rebooting my pc.

I'm using FTM 2009 Platinum on Vista Ultimate.
