Background ....We discovered that my brother's GF's GG grandfather had the same last name as us so naturally I looked into it.
It didn't take me more than a few minutes as I have been doing research on my family for years now and found that her line connects with ours as I suspected.
Her 7th GGF and our 6th GGF are brothers.
I began reseaching more for her and found that we have another connection off her line to us.

Her maternal 7th GGP is our 6th great aunt & uncle. Which makes her 6th GGF our 1st cousin 7x removed

What I am trying figure out is (for both lines) how are we related in terms of number cousin and how many times removed
