I have obtained copies of the land petitions of Duncan and Margaret McDonell who were the children of Alexander(McRail) McDonell. The petitions, read in Council 25 June 1807, state that their father was a U.E. Loyalist, member of the R.R.N.Y. The petitions also state that Alexander is "on the Black River" at that time.
I would like to find out where Duncan and Margaret were granted land. Also, in which lot/concession "on the Black River" Alexander ended up.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
