I am in search for my mothers birth parents. Mothers name was Gloria Walker on the 1930 Roanoke Virginia Census, Roanoke Children's Home Society. She was alone, as far as we can tell. The paperwork (that the doctor gave her new mother) said Gloria Prentice Walker. She was never legally adopted. We have been to the Roanoke Children's Home with no luck. They refuse to help us. The only thing that Mother wanted, was to know her birth parents. Any help would be appreciated.
