I am looking for any info regarding my family. Maternally, I am able to go as far back as my Great-grandfather Santana Gandara, who owned a large ranch named El Refugio, municipio de Aramberri NW of Monterrey, NL Mexico. His wife was Ignacia "Nachita" Moreno. His daughter (my grandmother), Tomasa married into the Salas'(Gustavo Salas) who also owned a ranch named El Pastor. Great grandfather Antonio Salas and wife Felicitas Garcia. It seems that they were wealthy types owning so much land. These ranches are pretty much in the same area. Paternally, pretty much the same thing except they were very poor. Great grandfather, Epimenio Cardenas, his wife, Maria Torres Rincon. Other great grandparents were Cruz Ramirez and Felicitas Martinez Gaona. Please forward any info that you can. I have run into alot of deadends or non-responses lately. Are the mexicanos not interested in their rich history/genealogy or sharing this info? Gracias.
