Trying to determine birthplace of father (Angus McDonald) of Donald J McDonald, born in Williamstown, Ontario, CA on 7/24/1861 to Angus. Also would need name and birthplace of Donald's mother. I am looking for any information concerning Donald's parents. Donald married Mary Williams of Locheil,ON,CA. Donald had a brother Duncan and sisters Elizabeth, Janet, Mary, Margaret Ann and Hannah(believed was a Sister in Order of St Joseph). I have a copy of the will for Angus McDonald dated 10/14/1891 which states his wife is Magaret and they live in the village of Alexandria, ON,CA. Village Lot #18 on the Northside of Elgin St, Alexandria, was left to his wife named Margaret. Property was also left to Margaret at West half of Lot #11 in the first concession or second range South of the river and Raisins in the township of Charlottenburg. This serves as background in trying to identify Angus McDonald. On Donald's death certificate his mother is listed as Anna McDonald, not Margaret.
