I'm trying to confirm the location of a hill formerly known as "Gowell Hill" near the present-day Kittery-Eliot town line. I've examined USGS maps and determined that the most likely candidates are Bolt and Bartlett Hills. There was also a church built ca. 1730 on this hill; and, though the building (I'm assuming) no longer stands, there would be a burial yard adjacent that perhaps still exists.
