I am looking for recollections of the Coal Glen (aka Farmville, aka Carolina Mine) Disaster in Chatham Co., which killed 53 men on 27 May 1925. Following is a partial list of the names of the men killed (the others were from outside the immediate area): Henry ALSTON (B), Johnnie ALSTON (B), Thomas Lee BUCHANAN (W), William BYERLY (W), Wilson CHESNEY (B), W.R. JOHNSON (W), Manly LAMBERT (B), John Edward LAUBSCHER (W), Samuel NAPIER (W), Hollis RICHARDSON (W), James SPRUILL (B), Charles WATSON (B), Robert WILLIAMS (B), James WILLIAMS (B), Charles L.
