I'm about to visit a city where many of my ancestor's are from. I've never actually done a library search. Does anyone have any tips for me? Are there things I should do ahead of time in preparation for the visit? I mainly want to look for obituary, wedding and birth announcements, right? I really want to maximize my time in an efficient manner and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
