Searching for the death information for William Joseph Manning who died in Wilmington, Delaware between 1917 and 1919. Here is what I know about him....

His parents were William Joseph Manning and Margaret J. Sullivan. He was born in Richmond, Virginia on October 31, 1885 and was married to Mary Carolyn Duggan (aka Carrie) at the time of his death. He had 2 young boys: Francis Lee Manning and William Joseph Manning - between the ages of 2 and 5 at the time of his death. William is buried in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia. The 1910 census shows William living in Virginia, he was married in either Virginia or Delaware but both of his boys were born in Delaware. His wife, my grandmother, remarried in 1920 in Wilmington to my grandfather, in 1920, which is how I am getting the dates of his death.

I cannot locate an obituary in the Richmond, Virginia area...and hope that someone might know if there was a death for this man in Delaware.
