Hello-I am a descendant of William Lamb, Sr., born approx. 1819, who emigrated from Ireland to New York City sometime before 1850. Wm Sr married Anna Troy. He had a sister named Maria Lamb who was also born in Ireland. She married a man named Goodwin in NYC.
My relatives are trying to track down when Wm. Lamb, Sr. came over from Ireland and where in Ireland he came from. Oral history is that he came from Clare.
I have no idea whether his sister, Maria Lamb Goodwin, came with him.
