After a year of fruitless research, it is apparent that I need help ... I have lost a great grandmother.

Elizabeth Jane (Welch) Robbins, wife of S. J. Robbins of Mississippi. It is beleived that she came to Vernon parish, Leesville with her son J. Will Robins, around 1900.

At this point I have lost her ...
don't know when or where she died.
Did she remarry, UNKNOWN ..
did she leave Leesville, possible, but doubtful.

It is beleived that she was still alive around 1920, but this is NOT confirmed.

It is also mentioned that she may have been Indian, but this also is NOT confirmed.

I find no grave for her, and have had no luck with census or securing a death cert.

I don't know what you can do, but if you run across this name or that of her son, PLEASE contact me ...
