These are some of the surnames on my fathers side of the family. They lived in Hempsted, Long Island and in Queens, NY. I know there is a Native American ancestor, either a gg or ggg grandmother. It was a family story passed on. She died young after childbirth. There are genetic characteristics that are in the family showing the native heritage was mixed in.
