Seeking information about the descendants of Rev. Joseph C. Hembree and Charity Webb. Joseph C. Hembree was brother to my great-great grandfather, James Washington Hembree. They were sons of Davis Hembree and Adaline Miller, and they had eight other siblings.

(Rev.) Joseph C. Hembree , born June 1841 in Buncombe Co., NC; died Abt. 1907. He married Charity Webb 1859. She was born July 05, 1843 in Cocke Co., TN; died Mar 08, 1912 at 11 o’clock a.m. in Wayne, Bollinger Co., MO [burial at Speer Cemetery Mar 09, 1912]. She was the daughter of James Webb and Anna Aslinger of TN .

Rev. Joseph C. Hembree fought in the Civil War and was a teacher and a Baptist minister. He migrated from NC to TN to finally settle in Bollinger Co., MO.
