Looking for any one with family ties to Henry Janes/Jayne/Jaynes, and family that lived in Liberty Twp., Washington Co.,Ohio in 1850. In 1840 the family may have lived in Wood Co., W.Va. just across the Ohio river. Henry was age 76 in 1850. born about 1783 - 84. His wife may have been Catherine Crawford. A daughter Cornelia, age 38 b. abt. 1812 was living with her parents then. Also a Sarah age 20 b. abt. 1830 (or maybe grand-daughter.) Henry had other daughter listed on the 1840 Cen. So there may well be others. Any information is never to small.

I was told he may have died Feb. 22, 1862, no place was given to me. May it was in or near Washington Co., A look-up of maybe a Will or death or cemetery would be very helpful as I live in Mich.
