I'm researching my Millers in Shenandoah County and I find that there was much intermarriage between my Millers and the Bartons. I found two Barton trees while at the library in Edinburg, one for James Barton and one for William Barton. Both had descendants who married into the same Miller family. Does anyone know if William and James were related? In the 1820 Census at Columbia Furnace they were next to each other.
