I have heard of a book about the families that moved to Bibb county after the War of 1812.
The MAHAN's are my GrGrGr grandparents. I am looking for the SMITH family that migrated to Bibb County With the MAHAN's.
I believe my Gr grandmother Susana Rutha SMITH, daughter of a John SMITH may have been a daughter or grand daughter of either of these families of MAHAN's or SMITH's.
I have no other nfo about this SMITH family.
Any help finding my Gr gramma Rutha would be appreciated.
