Kate (Katharina) Fluck of LeMars, Iowa supposedly put an ad in a Colorado paper for herself as a mail order bride. She may have used her name, she may not have. She married James Crawford Junkin in November, 1899 and moved to Cripple Creek, CO.
James lived in Denver, Colorado Springs and Cripple Creek during these times. I have looked for such an ad from Nov 1896 to Oct 1899 and came up with nothing.
Does anybody have any suggestions or access to Colorado newspapers at that time?
Thanks for any responses.
