I am in the beginning stages of discovering my family history. My grandfather is Eric Tomlinson Paylor. He was born approximately 1905 and died 1971. His wife was Elizabeth May Slack. To the best of my knowledge, they lived in the village of Wigton, Cumbria.

Because Eric lived not so very far from the Yorkshire/Whitby epicenter of PayIors, it is possible that Eric could turn up in the family histories of many of the readers of this board. I would sincerely appreciate any help that you can offer.
