I am in possession of a letter written in 1886 - the address looks like Nakanni Road Ashburton Canterbury New Zealand.

The letter is from a Pamela Ware to her Aunt (No Name given) letting her know that the Aunt's sister is dying. Pamela says that she is the eldest girl in her family and is aged 19 (in 1886). she has brothers called William, Harry, James and John.

The address she has given is for a Mr James Bayly Farmer Makanni Road Ashburton Canterbury New Zealand.

I would love to be able to pass this letter on to the direct descendants of this family.
