I am looking for the the name of an unknown Rogers who died 1846-1850 in Tennessee (around McMinn County?). Wife is believed to be Cherokee named Delilia. Family Legen has it that he was in the Union army and got taken off by Confedeate soldiers and killed. His son John R. Rogers was a captain in the confederate arm. Their children are as follows:
