I am hoping that someone would be willing to do a marriage look up for me in the Buffalo, New York area. I am searching for information on John Donovan married to Hannarah/Hanora "Hannah" Sweeney (the spelling of her name varies). They would have married between 1836-1844 in or around Buffalo, NY. My hope is to find out if John or Hannah listed where they were born in County Cork, Ireland, along with their parents names. I would be internally grateful and the happiest lass in the world! Side note: Family lore is that John came to the US with 4 brothers (possibly parents too). The brothers worked together on the widening of the Erie Canal.
John met Hannah while in Buffalo. Their first son Michael was born in Buffalo, July 4, 1844. The family next shows up in next in Chicago area around 1846.

I have most everything from 1846 on including citizenship papers, death certificate, etc. that only reveal that John was born in County Cork.
