I am interested in locating more information about William B. ALDRICH. He enlisted in K Co. 105th Inf Reg in the Civil War. His residence was DeKalb. He died 28 July 1866 in DeKalb. Would there have been a newspaper with an obituary for that time period? I would like to find where he was buried. He had the following children: John W. Aldrich, Mary C. Aldrich (md. E.B. Dunwell), Henrietta C. "Ettie" Aldrich (md. Alvah Wynkoop), Martha A. Aldrich (md. Dewey Nickerson), Ida J. Aldrich (md. Parmer H. Shaw), Avery Judson Aldrich. William B. Aldrich's wife was Amelia/Amanda. All of the above marriages took place in DeKalb.
