Please help! I have confirmed that my ancestor received a plat of land during the 1832 Cherokee Land Lottery (Spencer Martin, Listed as getting land in the 14th District, 2nd Section, Cherokee - Merck's, and his plot number is 281, Hall County.) I would LOVE to have a general idea of where this land is located, but cannot find a map of the districts anywhere. Can anyone help with this? Thanks in advance!
