Seeking descendants of John Robert Smith and wife Loretta Wingate Smith, and Caroline Smith Wingate (John Robert's sister) and her husband John Wesley Wingate (Loretta's brother). Both families, along with their mother Sarah Ann Roddenberry Smith and a sister Penina Smith Clark, migrated to Jackson County, FL, from Doerun, Colquitt County, GA, around 1898. All are buried in Shady Grove Cemetery, in Jackson County. Children of John Robert Smith were: Charles Robert, Ella V. (m. Scott), Isaac Walter, Marion Joseph, Icelene (m. Perkins), Dora Mae (m. Nevitt), and Alton B. Smith. Have info on all descendants of Charles Robert Smith, my grandfather. Would like to contact any descendants of other Smith children listed. All were living in either Jackson or Calhoun County in 1920.
